The BPIC typically hosts many community events throughout the year. Unfortunately due to the pandemic, BPIC social events have been on hold. We are optimistic that we will soon be able to reopen for our regular events. For now, most 2021 event dates are yet to be determined but be sure to check back for the latest updates.

The Original Browns Point Salmon Bake
The Original Browns Point Salmon Bake is a summertime event not to be missed. Fresh-caught Alaskan salmon is cooked over alder wood fire pits in the same manner Jerry Meeker did at the first official salmon bake in 1946. People from all over our region make the trek to Browns Point to enjoy an authentic salmon dinner, catch up with old friends, and make some new ones. If salmon doesn’t suit your taste, there are burgers, clam chowder, and milk shakes, too. Throughout the weekend-long event, there is live entertainment on the main stage. As the sun sets on Saturday, the party in the beer garden heats up. It’s a night not to be missed! This is an event for the whole family with kids games, crafts, and an art show featuring local Northwest artists. There is no entry cost. Come on out and join us for a fun Northwest tradition. Open Noon to 8pm both days. Beer garden stays open late on Saturday. For the latest updates, follow us on Facebook. Facebook.com/salmonbake
2021 Date TBD
Easter Egg Hunt
The Bunny makes a stop each year at the BPIC the Saturday before Easter. Hundreds of hidden eggs and surprises await kids who come down to test their hunting skills. The Easter Bunny will be there to meet the kids and pose for a picture too. Kids 0-9 are welcome. The hunt usually lasts only minutes so come early!
2021 Date TBD
The club hosts two fishing derbies each year: one for adults and one for kids. Fishing derbies are long-standing traditions in Browns Point and much pride comes with taking top honors. At the Kids Derby, regardless of what gets caught or “got away,” all kids go home with a prize and a t-shirt. The adult derby, also known as Cliff House Willie’s Fishing Derby, raises money to keep the Kids Derby free. Fisherman and landlubbers alike are welcome to play in a friendly horseshoe tournament after. Weigh in is always at noon at the Clubhouse. Don’t be late to weigh in!
2021 Date TBD
While setting up for Salmon Bake 2012, we came across boxes of vintage BPIC Bingo cards tucked away in the basement. A couple of our neighbors decided that was something that needed to be revived and we held our first annual Turkey Bingo Night in November 2013. It was a sold-out crowd and fun night all around. Free bingo games are included with your purchase of a dinner ticket, and while you can’t win any money, you could walk away with a frozen turkey or toy prizes for the kids. This event typically sells out fast so be sure to get your tickets early when they go on sale!
